In the vivid Indian market for retrofit and new built projects of coal fired steam boilers PROMECON have been awarded a large contract for two new 800 MW units by ALSTOM USA. PROMECON will deliver 2 x 36 flow dampers for coal mass flow as well as velocity regulation for the new NTPC power station.

Also PROMECON have been awarded a contract over 2 x 36 coal mass flow measurement systems. The systems will measure absolute coal mass flow as well as coal velocity to each burner. They will be used to optimize the mill operation and exact dosing for the fuel to each burner in regards to mass flow, air to fuel ratio and velocity. After a long qualification period with the final client ALSTOM have decided for PROMECON as preferred vendor for this project.
